Two Trinity baseball/softball players commit

Two Trinity athletes -- Don McWreath and Brianna Thomas -- committed to colleges for baseball and softball this week.

McWreath, a pitcher and shortstop, committed to Seton Hill, while Thomas, a catcher and first baseman, will play for Ohio Valley University. Both are NCAA Division II schools.

Through nine games this season, Thomas had six RBI and a home run, helping the Hillers to a perfect Section 2-AAA record.

McWreath increased his batting average from .261 in 2012 to .375 this season. On the mound, he's 1-2 with 17 strikeouts, seven walks and a 3.73 earned-run average for a team that's 3-3 in Section 3-AAA, 6-6 overall.
