The Trinity football team was already young, but it turns out the Hillers lost one of their few players with experience for an extended period of time.
Fullback/linebacker John Dobich missed half of training camp with a concussion, which had cleared up. But, before returning to practice Monday, Dobich broke his ankle over the weekend and will miss an additional six weeks.
Tough break for a team that will be breaking in new starters at quarterback, running back, wide receiver, tight end and at several spots along the offensive and defensive lines.
If the six weeks holds true, Dobich could return for Oct. 11, at home, against Uniontown. Games at West Mifflin and home against Ringgold follow the next two Friday nights.
